On the 13th of February in a4 on Bratislava's SNP Square we present the "Before Valentines Design Market". The design market, will also have films presented from a4's large 16mm archive and also music will be from DJ Mileticka and Andrej Chudy. There will be a massive selection of things to see, t shirts, handbags, jewellery, magazines, and many other hand made items from lamps to graphics. Its a great opportunity to see what you can add to your wardrobe or just to see what young artists are creating in 2010's Bratislava, in a nice atmosphere, without stress or being asked 'can I help you' by a shop assistant. Vegan food will also be on offer from Petra Vegan. Every visitor will also be helping animals in dire need of finanical help at Bratislava's shelter on Rebarborova Street.

A little bit late maybe, but we decided to show you the photos from the volenteer day that was at the Bratislava shelter found on Rebarborova Street 17.
At the shelter two large rooms for cats went through something of a reconstruction. With a weekends work it was a success, walls were repainted, windows, the whole space was disinfected, the furniture was re-painted, new fences were put up in the garden, and a lot of other repairs. The shelter is still though in dire financial need and help is most welcome. If you would be interested in helping with finanicial or material help, then please dont delay in contacting us on kelvekland@gmail.com. |

we are looking for volenteers!!!
together with our friend Petra Vegan we have decided to organise a day or two of hard work to help the Bratislava http://utulokaoz.blogspot.com/ which is in need of big financial help and also in desperate need of repair. So we are looking for volunteers, which can come for a day or two, if that is not possible then maybe for two or three hours to help and some vital work like painting walls, cutting the grass, repairing the wooden areas, cleaning, moving furniture or to keep an eye on the cats while the work is going on. The volunteer work will take place around the end of September or the beginning of October albeit weather permitting. Who ever out there likes animals and wants to help then please contact us on kelvekland@gmail.com and we can send you some more information. |
